How much can I earn per referral?
You earn 20% of each subscription payment for the first 12 months while the business stays subscribed, plus a one-off £25.00 bonus when they make their first paid invoice (after trial). Example: a Crew plan at £19.99/month pays about £4.00 per month in commission — up to roughly £48 over 12 months, plus the £25.00 bonus, if they remain paying customers.
When do I get paid?
Commissions unlock after a 30-day hold (refund and chargeback window). Once your payable balance reaches £50.00, you can request a payout from your partner dashboard. Payouts are reviewed and approved by OEMVex (bank transfer, PayPal, or Stripe Connect when enabled).
How does referral tracking work?
Share your personal link (e.g. https://oemvex.com/?ref=your-code). We store a 90-day cookie so if someone visits and signs up within that window, you receive attribution. Each referred business can only be credited to one partner.
Is this different from “refer a mate” for existing customers?
Yes. Refer-a-mate is for traders already using OEMVex (£20 account credit both sides). The affiliate program is for promoters, creators, and businesses who refer new paying subscribers for cash commission — not trader-to-trader credits.
Do trial sign-ups earn commission?
Commission is calculated on paid subscription invoices. Free trials alone do not generate recurring commission. The first-payment bonus applies when the referred business completes their first paid subscription charge after trial.
Can I promote AI Voice and Smart Quote in my content?
Yes — they are real product features with monthly minute limits per plan. You must not guarantee specific AI outcomes, unlimited usage, or features marked as planned on our pricing page. Point people to oemvex.com/pricing and /help for current limits.
Is the affiliate program still profitable for OEMVex with AI included?
We designed the program to be sustainable: commission is capped at 12 months (not lifetime), AI usage is metered per plan, and platform API costs are managed centrally. On typical Solo–Crew accounts, subscription revenue exceeds average AI and infrastructure cost; higher tiers fund heavier usage while commission remains a share of revenue, not unlimited liability. We monitor unit economics and can adjust future rates or campaigns without reducing commissions already locked on existing referrals (grandfathering planned).
Can I refer my own company or create fake accounts?
No. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, cookie stuffing, brand bidding on “OEMVex” trademarks without permission, and fraudulent sign-ups void commissions and may result in suspension.
How long does approval take?
We review applications within a few working days. Once approved you receive your referral code, dashboard access, and marketing materials. You can apply even if you are not yet an OEMVex customer.
What are my tax responsibilities?
You are an independent promoter, not an employee. You are responsible for reporting and paying any tax due on commission income in your jurisdiction (e.g. Self Assessment in the UK). We may require tax information for higher payout volumes.
