Your assistant runs business actions in OEMVex (not general chat). Most day-to-day steps use fixed app actions — no AI credit. Drafting a new quote from scratch uses 1 AI credit.
Getting started
- Sign in at oemvex.com/login. Tap Assistant (type) or Speak on your phone (Chrome or Edge for the mic).
- Use plain English. Examples below use fictional names and numbers — not real customers in your account.
- When the assistant is not sure (customer, job, or where to put money), it shows buttons in the chat. Tap one — the payment or action runs in the panel; you are not sent away to another page first.
- Say “What can you do?” for the full list. Chat history returns when you reopen the panel.
Example phrases (fictional)
- Schedule a job: “Add a job Thursday 4pm Mrs Smith at 10 High Street — paint the fence”
- Update a customer: “Add 07700 900123 as Mrs Smith mobile”
- Record payment on a job (no invoice needed): “Record £150 on job JOB-12”
- Record payment on an invoice: “Record £80 on INV-5”
- Deposit on a quote: “Record £200 deposit on quote QUO-3”
- On account: “Record £50 on account for Mrs Smith”
- Chase a bill: “Chase INV-12” — tap WhatsApp or Email if asked
- Chase a job: “Chase job JOB-12 on WhatsApp” (no formal bill needed)
- Quote: “Quote Mr Jones bathroom refit for £2,400” (uses 1 credit)
- Today: “My appointments today”, “Who owes money?”
Payments without invoices
Many traders never send a formal bill. On the job: set the job price, tap Ask for payment (WhatsApp), then Got paid when money lands — or say “Record £150 on job JOB-12” to the assistant. You can add a formal bill later if they need one.
On Today, open Money owed to Chase jobs or bills, or Got paid.
Link or fix a payment later
Open Payments → Edit on a row → Apply payment to to move on-account money to a job, invoice, or quote.
AI credits
Free: schedule/reschedule job, update customer phone/email, record payment (job, invoice, quote deposit, on account), chase invoice, send quote, today’s jobs, and similar.
1 credit: each AI-backed instruction (e.g. new quote from scratch). Speak: 1 credit per minute after 30 seconds. See Settings → Your assistant.
Always review jobs, quotes, and outbound messages in the app before they reach customers.
